Homemade Spaghetti: Tips on Making Spaghetti Night POP

There’s nothing like spaghetti, it’s a man’s best friend (besides a dog). For some spaghetti is on Sundays (or other pastas). It can be a party dish or even a holiday dish, but let’s face it we all struggled at one time to put that pasta dish on the table. Mainly because the pastas either not done or over cooked or the main point I’m trying to get; the sauce is not tomatoey enough or does not taste as such. So here are a few tips to make your next spaghetti dinner POP:

1. Let the sauce stand out. The tomato sauce or any other sauce should always be the star of the show.

2. Limit your meats or vegetables and overcrowd your pan because your sauce would dry out quickly before serving.

3. Season liberally. My seasoning of choice is garlic powder. Sometimes seasoning salt. Again make your next spaghetti night pop.

See the difference? On top the spaghetti was lifeless. On the bottom I learned to limit the amount of ground beef I use.
